Rainthorpe Transport Ltd was set up in 1958 by Ken Rainthorpe. In 1982, Richard Rainthorpe joined the company after passing his HGV via the Young Driver Scheme. With the CPC Transport Managers examination under his belt, Richard has expanded the business from one lorry to the current fleet of 15 vehicles on the road.
Having a broad base of customers and with a high volume of machines moving all around the United Kingdom and Europe, groupage/part loads can be readily integrated into the network. We can also offer fixed price distribution anywhere in the country. This enables manufacturers and dealers to price from a level playing field because transport costs can be built into the final price of a product.
Rainthorpe Transport is a member of Achilles and is audited twice a year to ensure that it is operating to the latest Health & Safety procedures. It is a member of both the Road Haulage Association and the Heavy Transport Association and takes its
responsibilities regarding its staff and client safety, along with vehicle maintenance and responsibility extremely seriously.
